I’m an author who enjoys gaming more than is probably healthy, occasionally takes photographs, and has a deep affinity for chocolate. I have a degree in communication, and I’ve also studied English, marketing, and cognitive science. The latter, especially the subject of sleep and dreams, is part of what inspired one of my book series, The Dream Sanctum. I write books for fun, and I used to edit them for a living. I also used to work in media where I wrote about politics, which earned me a disappointingly low amount of hate mail.
I live in Southern California, which means ten months of complaining about the heat, two months complaining about the cold, and twelve months complaining about the traffic.
I get funny looks for my opinions on the Oxford comma and other grammatical takes, but I love what I do, and I hope you like what you see. Thanks for visiting!
You have a good style. Keep it up.
Thank you! π
Found your blog on today’s Freshly Pressed. Will be following your blog from now on. Looking forward for more great posts!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy what comes in the future.
Kay, I had an awards ceremony at my blog yesterday. http://breezybooksblog.wordpress.com/2012/09/24/after-watching-the-emmys/ I nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Since you just listed seven things, you can put it on the back burner for another time if you want. Rules are the usual – seven things about yourself, nominate others. π
Hey, thank you for following π
You’re welcome. =D You have a nice blog!

I have nominated your blog for the Inspirational Blogger Award. http://fictionalfantasy.wordpress.com/2013/01/11/the-inspirational-blogger-award/
Hey, dude. I just read The Dream Sanctum. It was pretty darn captivating and a lot of fun to read. I was wondering if you would let me do a book review of it on my blog. I liked it, so you can expect good things, but I didn’t want to do so without your permission, since you’re also in the blogosphere.
If you’d like to hear my full review personally first, let me know. If I don’t hear from you, I won’t review it.
Sure thing! And I don’t need to see it first, no worries. The way I see it, since it’s out there for the public to read, anyone can post whatever they please about it, though I appreciate the question. π
I’m glad you liked it too. I look forward to whatever positives and criticisms come with it. \o/
Awesome. Just a couple questions. One, when will the next be out, or do you know? Two, there will be three books, right? Three, are you still blogging? If so, I’ll link to your blog. Four, I stumbled upon your Dream Sanctum Website. Can you describe that for me? I’ll say a little ditty about it. Thanks, dude!
I can’t say exactly for sure yet, but within the next few months. If I had to take a shot in the dark, probably June or July. There will still be three books, yep! As for blogging… I unfortunately haven’t kept up with it lately, but I still plan on it, so yes. And I’m not sure what you mean by website… I have my personal site that has all my books, or the Tumblr account for TDS, which one? =0
Well, what’s your personal site? I’ll reference it.
And the other site I found was called dreamsanctumsaga.proboards.com. Is that it?
Why don’t you just give a brief description of your sites for my references? Thanks.
Just had a trundle through your blog…. you may suck at writing taglines but you certainly don’t suck at writing posts, they’re great! π Consider me subscribed π
Well gosh, thank you. That puts a smile on my face. \o/
